Biden-Harris program tells kindergarteners they have no future from climate change
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has fought to keep woke indoctrination out of the classroom like critical race theory and radical gender ideologies.
Kindergartners are facing a new indoctrination threat courtesy of the Biden-Harris administration.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Climate Kids website is supposed to be a fun and instructional way to teach kindergarteners about the dangers of climate change.
Climate Kids warns students that the world is in the middle of a climate catastrophe because global warming is causing sea levels to rise, polar ice caps to melt, and extreme weather events to increase.
These young students are forced to face the fact their future is doomed from global warming.
Climate Kids claims that the price of using fossil fuels is “pollution, the destruction of landscapes and natural habitats, oil spills in the ocean, and nasty fracking chemicals in the ground.”
“Global warming will be the biggest problem of all,” Climate Kids states. “Global warming will affect everyone on Earth.”
Kindergartens are warned that major cities like New Orleans, Miami, and the East Coast could be reclaimed by the ocean from rising sea levels.
Climate Kids was created in 2012 under former President Barack Obama.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) manages a webpage for students similar to Climate Kids called the NOAA Education Portal which features similar global warming-related content.
Kids are suffering from climate anxiety
The constant fearmongering from the Biden-Harris administration and others has created a new problem for kids.
Climate anxiety is a new psychological disorder suffered most often by adolescents and young adults who suffer fear and anxiety about climate change.
U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is leading an investigation into NASA and the NOAA for their climate websites targeting kids.
He wrote a letter to NASA administrator Bill Nelson and NOAA administrator Richard Spinrad accusing them of trying to “manufacture support” for “radical environmentalist activism.”
Cruz accused the agencies of creating “faux-educational materials that fuel climate alarmism” to build support for the Biden-Harris administration’s climate change agenda.
“The Biden-Harris administration marked Earth Day this year by touting its efforts to combat ‘the climate crisis,’ including its quixotic quest for net-zero emissions, the formation of a multi-billion-dollar American Climate Corps, and the restriction of federal oil and gas leases,” Cruz wrote.
“Young people are absorbing the rhetoric; they report high levels of anxiety about climate change and are adapting their behavior in radical ways, including by foregoing children,” Cruz continued. “Is this anxiety based on science or sensationalism? The evidence points to the latter.”
The Texas lawmaker pointed out that Climate Kids features a cartoon called Climate Tales starring a polar bear panicked about losing his home to global warming.
He noted that the NOAA Education Portal features a video from 2012 warning students that melting polar ice caps could lead to an “inescapable death spiral” where all the ice in the Arctic Ocean would be gone by 2022.
