A Disney star is feeling the heat for launching this sick attack on fans

The problems continue to pile up for Disney with no end in sight.

Now, the company must worry about its talent going off the reservation.

And a Disney star is feeling the heat for launching this sick attack on fans.

Woke Star Wars series becomes a costly bust for Disney

The Disney+ streaming series The Acolyte became the latest production from Disney to bomb after a woke controversy.

Set in the Star Wars universe, the show was canceled after its first season which ran for eight episodes.

Disney shelled out more than $180 million for the first season making it one of the company’s most expensive flops.

It suffered from dismal reviews and poor ratings.

The Acolyte courted controversy from the beginning.

Showrunner Leslye Headland promised that the series would be a celebration of all things LGBTQ.

She boasted that The Acolyte was the “gayest Star Wars” offering ever.

Headland said the series was going to be “coded queer” before it even went into production.

“There’s just no way that me being a queer woman is not going to be reflected in my work. I could try not to do it, but why would I? It just feels like a natural extension of what I do.”

Actress Amandla Stenberg, who identifies as nonbinary, was the series lead playing twin sisters.

She is an LGBTQ activist who said during an interview in 2018 that the goal of her movie The Hate You Give was “to make white people cry.”

Actress rages fans for show’s cancellation

Fans of Star Wars heard more about how gay The Acolyte was going to be than anything about its story or characters.

Treating a TV series that cost as much as a feature film to make, like a woke arthouse movie turned off fans from the beginning.

Amandla Stenberg did not blame The Acolyte’s failure on terrible marketing or being a bad series.

She went on a tirade on social media blasting Star Wars fans for being conservative bigots for the series’ failure.

“Our show, our ‘Star Wars’ show, has been canceled,” Stenberg said. “I’m going to be transparent and say it’s not a huge shock for me.”

The problem according to her was the negative attention the show received before it even aired.

“Of course, I live in the bubble of my own reality, but for those who aren’t aware, there has been a rampage of vitriol that we have faced since the show was even announced, when it was still just a concept and no one had even seen it,” Stenberg ranted. “That’s when we started experiencing a rampage of hyper-conservative bigotry and vitriol, prejudice, hatred, and hateful language towards us.”

The show cannot fail, it can only be failed by its fans and conservatives.

“And I just want to let those people know out there who supported us in that way, and supported us vocally in the face of all of the vitriol that we received, and the kind of the targeted attack I would say we received by the alt-right, just that you were deeply loved and appreciated, and it made this job all the worthwhile for me,” Stenberg raved.

Disney continues to watch its movies and TV shows that push a woke agenda flop with audiences.

But the company continues to double down on wokeness instead of learning from its failures.
