Prosecutors should seek the death penalty for what this Florida woman had a Rottweiler do to her ex-boyfriend’s daughter

Some people are just downright evil.

They are willing to do things to other people that anyone with a shred of decency finds sickening.

And prosecutors should seek the death penalty for what this Florida woman had a Rottweiler do to her ex-boyfriend’s daughter.

Child abuse is a serious crime that is more prevalent in today’s society than most Americans realize.

2022 is the most recent year for national data on child abuse.

According to 2022 statistics, an estimated 558,899 children were victims of child abuse and neglect in the United States.

That is roughly eight children out of every 1,000.

A parent of the child make up 76% of the abusers, and more than half are female.

But police were shocked by the hell a Florida woman and her ex-boyfriend put his nine-year-old daughter through before they killed her.

In June, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office responded to an emergency call about an unresponsive child at the home of 34-year-old Tyshael Elise Martin.

Shortly after they arrived on the scene, EMS pronounced the nine-year-old girl dead.

Martin said the child belonged to her ex-boyfriend and claimed that she found her like that in the morning when she went to wake her up for a vacation trip to California.

However, authorities gained access to video footage from the home’s security system.

And what they found was horrifying.

“A woman allegedly ordered a 103-pound Rottweiler to maul her ex-boyfriend’s nine-year-old daughter to death,” MSN reported.

“Tyshael Elise Martin, 34, appeared in CCTV footage instructing the dog while holding its leash to turn on the girl, Jamaria Sessions, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office,” MSN continued. “The video showed Jamaria being ‘viciously attacked’ by the Rottweiler and Martin kicking her as she ‘laid motionless on the floor.’”

In the video, Martin said “I’m fixin’ to kill her” as she dragged the young girl across the floor while beating her in the head.

“They got the act of Martin severely, savagely beating Jamaria in the nights leading up to her death,” Lieutenant John Herrell said. “In my time here, I don’t think I have ever seen anything so graphic and like I said, savage is an appropriate word to describe this.”

Police also discovered the girl’s father had also been abusing her.

“The sheriff’s office said detectives learned the girl was punished with prolonged wall sits, running in place with her arms up, being hit with objects, kicked, punched and pinched,” Click Orlando reported. “An autopsy report revealed the girl’s cause of death was multiple blunt injuries to the head, torso and thermal injury of the right foot,” Click Orlando added. “According to a probable cause affidavit, the girl was burned on her foot when Martin used boiling water on the girl’s hair.”

Martin is currently in jail without bond.

The father was also arrested for aggravated manslaughter.
