Tim Tebow is getting involved in one scary fight that left Kamala Harris worried sick

Sep 16, 2024

Tim Tebow is one of the most legendary players in college football history.

He is determined to use the platform he was given to tackle tough problems.

Now, Tim Tebow is getting involved in one scary fight that left Kamala Harris worried sick.

Tim Tebow tackles his scariest fight yet against child exploitation

Tim Tebow was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame after he quarterbacked the Florida Gators to two national championships and won a Heisman Trophy.

He parlayed his success in college to an NFL career with the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets.

Now, Tebow works as a broadcaster with the SEC Network and ESPN.

The Heisman Trophy winner has focused on giving back with his Tim Tebow Foundation.

Fighting human trafficking and child exploitation is the focus of his foundation’s work.

Tebow teamed with a bipartisan group of Congressmen to push for the Renewed Hope Act of 2024.

The bill would fight against child exploitation online by giving more resources to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Homeland Security Investigations.

“This isn’t about policies or politics — it’s about people,” Tebow said outside the Capitol Building. “It’s about people, every single one of those boys and girls. It is about how we can possibly get to as many of those boys and girls as possible.”

Tebow was joined by U.S. Senators John Cornyn (R-TX) and Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), and Representatives Laurel Lee (R-FL) and Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL).

Bad problem gets worse under the Biden-Harris administration

Cornyn said the bill would help bring the criminals exploiting kids to justice.

“No child should be the subject of online sexual exploitation and abuse,” Cornyn said. “Today, we’re here to introduce the Renewed Hope Act, which would enhance the government’s capacity to identify, rescue, and protect kids and bring perpetrators to justice. This bill would equip Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations with greater resources and more training, and new and advanced victim identification methods.”

Tebow and his foundation have worked with Homeland Security Investigations to rescue kids from exploitation.

He testified before the House Judiciary Committee earlier this year about his foundation’s work.

The former quarterback read messages targeting kids online to underscore the seriousness of the threat.

“When I read that chat, it hurts,” Tebow said. “And I mourn and grieve a little bit when I read it, but I also have hope. Because I know that we’re able to bring a piece of the solution here today. And, unfortunately, many times, people with the goal to do evil work better than people with the goal to do good. I say that today with a heavy heart, but you know, I also believe here today that people with the goal to do good are working together in an incredible way.”

He said that children are suffering while they are waiting for someone to help them.

“Right now, as we’re talking, they’re crying,” Tebow said. “So, we better do more than talk. We better act because they’re waiting.”

Tim Tebow is using the success brought by his football career to make a difference in the lives of exploited kids.
