CNN stunned its audience when it committed an act of journalism about Vice President Kamala Harris.
The network uncovered a survey that she filled out for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) when she was running for the Democrat Presidential nomination in 2019.
Kamala said that she would take executive action to make sure that taxpayer money covered transgender surgeries for anyone receiving healthcare benefits from the government including prisoners and illegal aliens.
“It is important that transgender individuals who rely on the state for care receive the treatment they need, which includes access to treatment associated with gender transition,” Kamala wrote.
She noted that as California Attorney General she “pushed the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to provide gender transition surgery to state inmates.”
Kamala supported a host of far-left positions before she started running for President this year, but this was too much even for the crew at CNN.
“She actually said she supported that!” CNN host Erin Burnett exclaimed.
Florida lawmaker introduces a bill to stop Kamala’s madness
U.S. Representative Greg Steube (R-FL) introduced a bill to stop taxpayer money from being used to pay for transgender surgeries for illegal aliens.
The Stopping Transgender Operation Payments and Wacky Expenses for Illegal Residents and Detainees (STOP WEIRD) Act quickly picked up the support of House Republicans.
“Kamala could implement her weird and disgusting plan today, or in the very unlikely case of a Harris-Walz administration,” Steube told Fox News Digital.
“Congress has the responsibility to safeguard taxpayer dollars from funding transition surgeries for illegal immigrants – I can think of a million things that are a better use of taxpayer dollars – for one, our veterans who fight for months, and sometimes years, to get the medical care they earned through service to our country,” Steube added.
The media has tried to cover for Kamala by claiming that she never supported giving taxpayer-funded transgender surgeries to illegal aliens.
Former President Donald Trump hammered her on it during their debate on ABC News.
“Now she wants to do transgender operations on illegal aliens that are in prison,” Trump said. “This is a radical Left liberal that would do this.”
When Kamala’s campaign was asked if she still supported it, they dodged the question.
“The Vice President’s positions have been shaped by three years of effective governance as part of the Biden-Harris Administration,” a Kamala campaign spokesman told Fox News.
Kamala would like to have the public believe that she transformed herself into a moderate.
But it is all just an act she is carrying on until Election Day.
Kamala Harris is hoping to run out the clock and have the media run cover for her about her far-left beliefs.
