Some people will do anything to earn a large stack of cash.
They will even enter a wild competition that is so horrifying it would make most people pass out.
But one wild Florida man showed no fear and beat out 800 people by conquering the one thing Americans fear most.
Fearless and full of adrenaline
Some people are born fearless.
When people run away from danger the fearless run towards it, almost like satisfying an internal thrill.
Adrenaline junkies are known to walk the line doing things that could get them killed.
Whether jumping off a cliff or swimming with the sharks, just “because” they want to.
Nuts.
But when Ronald Kieger heard about the chance to win $10,000 for completing one job no one else wanted to do he was quick to sign up.
After all, in the Biden/Harris economy, $10,000 could really help a guy.
But once you hear what Kieger had to do to win the cash you will be screaming.
What are you scared of?
Americans fear all kinds of things heights, bees, small spaces, and of course snakes.
Would you face your fear for $10,000?
Most people would not.
But then there are those like Kieger who are hardcore and fearless.
So, when Kieger was challenged to remove snakes in South Florida for $10,000 he jumped at the chance.
But there was a catch.
You see Kieger was not asked to remove garden snakes from grandma’s house, oh no, his task was much more challenging.
To win the $10,000, Kieger had to remove Burmese Pythons from seven different places in South Florida, radio station Wild 91.4 reported.
Pythons!
And Kieger did not just remove one or two of these deadly creatures, oh no, he did much more than that.
As it turns out, he removed a whopping 20 Burmese Pythons from the Florida Everglades!
TWENTY!
Pythons are not the typical snake.
They can kill.
In Indonesia, a 23ft long python swallowed a woman whole killing her, BBC reported.
Swallowed!
A local police chief in Indonesia said, “Residents were suspicious the snake swallowed the victim, so they killed it, then carried it out of the garden,” BBC reported.
“The snake’s belly was cut open and the body of the victim was found inside,” the chief continued.
Yikes!
With such a risk a man must be nuts to willingly put himself in the vicinity of Burmese Pythons.
Anything for the green
But Kieger was not the only one determined to win the cash he competed against 800 other people.
That is right!
There were 800 people brave (or crazy) enough to actually participate in the state-sanctioned Florida Python Challenge.
The insane challenge spanned 10 days and brought people from all over America (and Canada) determined to get a piece of the pie.
So what is the catch with the cash?
This time, there is no catch.
The goal of the “snake hunt” is to bring “awareness” to the threat of Burmese Pythons who are known to prey on mammals and birds. The snakes had decimated the rabbit, raccoon, and deer populations.
Cheers to Kieger for doing the challenging work most people won’t.
In fact, since nearly half of Americans are afraid of snakes you could not pay them enough to wrestle with a Burmese Python.
