The southeast is reeling after Hurricane Helene ripped through it.
But the federal government is playing games with its response.
And Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody demolished FEMA for this sick problem.

Hurricane Helene tore through the southeast from Florida to Virginia leaving a path of destruction in its wake.
More than 200 people are dead, making it the second deadliest storm behind Hurricane Katrina in the last 50 years, and thousands are missing.
Western North and Eastern Tennessee were devastated by flooding after receiving record rainfall from the storm.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is supposed to manage disaster relief, but the agency has been slow in its response to the victims of Helene.
Impeached Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas warned that FEMA is going to run out of money.
“We are meeting the immediate needs with the money that we have,” Mayorkas said. “We are expecting another hurricane hitting. We do not have the funds. FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season.”
FEMA is running out of money for disaster victims after the agency spent more than $1 billion on helping communities deal with the fallout from illegal immigration since 2022.

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody demolished Alejandro Mayorkas for complaining that FEMA is out of money during an appearance on Fox & Friends.
Everyone should be waking up this morning outraged by that comment. “This is not something that has just happened recently,” Moody said. “Mayorkas has come in like a virus and infected what need[s] to be healthy, strong, fundamental programs to ensure the stability and safety of Americans in times of disaster.”
Moody tore into the Biden-Harris administration for using FEMA as part of its scheme to encourage illegal immigration.
“So, you heard they have taken the FEMA emergency food and shelter program and over time siphoned off hundreds of millions of dollars into basically making it an illegal immigrant resettlement program,” Moody stated.
She noted that Democrat states and cities are declaring disaster from illegal immigration to get FEMA assistance from the Biden-Harris administration.
Those programs created with FEMA money become a magnet to attract more illegal aliens.
“The government, Biden and Harris, are having to fund that on the backs of the American people,” Moody explained. “And right now in Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, all of these states are hurting because of this truly natural disaster, not a Biden-Harris-made disaster.”
“They’re saying we need more money,” Moody continued. “And of course, they need more money because they’ve been laundering it from the intended purpose of this fund that Congress set forth. Laws be damned.”
Taxpayer money is being misappropriated across the federal government to pay for the open border agenda of the Biden-Harris administration.
Congress is already talking about another disaster relief bill that could be chalked full of pork and special interest giveaways as the last hurrah of spending under President Joe Biden.
American citizens are being put last to pay for the influx of illegal aliens into the country.
