A Florida Republican strategist had one confession about 2024 that stunned Donald Trump

The Presidential race is in the final sprint toward Election Day.

Candidates are trying to figure out the state of play in the closing days.

And a Florida Republican strategist had one confession about 2024 that stunned Donald Trump.

Top Florida political insider predicts massive wins for the GOP in the Sunshine State

Florida has shifted to the Right since former President Donald Trump’s victory in the 2016 Election.

That trend accelerated under the leadership of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Florida Democrats had more registered voters in the state when he took office.

Republicans have been making massive gains in the number of registered voters during his Governorship.

Now, Florida Republicans have an advantage of more than a million voters over Democrats.

Buoyed by the enthusiasm surrounding Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign, Florida Democrats thought that they could put the state in play.

Kamala’s campaign opened 20 field offices in Florida and has about 150 paid staffers in the state.

Senate Democrats looked to Florida to go on the offensive after they found themselves scrambling to protect their slim 51-49 majority.

West Virginia is all but certain to flip Republican after U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (I-WV) announced he was not seeking another term.

U.S. Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) looks to be in grave danger in Montana after trailing in every public poll since the beginning of August.

Florida and Texas are the two most vulnerable Republican-held Senate seats this year.

U.S. Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) won his first race in 2018 with 10,033 votes out of more than eight million cast in the closest Senate race in the country this year.

The RealClearPolitics polling average of Florida shows Trump with an 8.4% advantage in the state and Scott a 5% lead.

Florida Republican strategist Ryan Tyson, who previously worked for Trump and DeSantis, predicted that Trump and Scott are going to do better than the public polls suggest.

“Our recent tracking suggests that the race has broken more to their advantage,” Tyson stated in a memo.

Turnout lagging for Florida Democrats

Florida Republicans are turning out in early voting this year at a greater rate than in recent elections.

Tyson noted that it took Florida Republicans until Election Day 2020 to cast more ballots than Democrats.

Florida Republicans overtook Democrats in this election on the first day of early in-person voting.

In some of Florida’s biggest counties, Republicans have cast more ballots than Democrats in early voting.

Tyson predicted from early turnout that Trump would win Florida by 13 points and that Scott would win it by 12.

Florida was the biggest swing state in the country for decades, thus known for its close elections.

Victories of that magnitude would cement Florida as a red state.

Trump lost Miami-Dade County, the most populous country in Florida, in 2016 and 2020 but this year Republicans have the advantage in early voting.

Miami-Dade County Commissioner Kevin Marino Cabrera said that his county has the chance to be carried by a Republican Presidential candidate for the first time since the 1988 Election.

“We are witnessing a seismic shift in Miami-Dade County politics, with Republicans outpacing Democrats in voter turnout, driven by a 20-point lead in early voting,” Cabrera said. “This surge is fueled by the incredible enthusiasm behind Donald Trump, particularly among minorities and working-class voters.”

Florida’s days as a competitive state could be coming to an end with this election cycle.
