A Florida woman made a call for pizza to get out of this scary situation

Getting out of a sticky situation often takes some ingenuity.

Some quick thinking kept a woman out of the worst-case scenario.

And a Florida woman made a call for pizza to get out of this scary situation.

A call to order a pizza saves a woman from a heinous crime

Calling to order a pizza is on the decline with the rise of apps and online ordering.

But for one Florida woman, the ability to order a pizza over the phone saved her from being raped or worse.

Luis Diego Hernandez-Moncayo, a 27-year-old illegal alien from Mexico, took a woman to a field in Pierson, Florida, where the situation turned dark.

The woman knew Hernandez-Moncayo had alcohol with him.

But he planned to rape her in the field.

The woman told him that she was going to order a pizza, but she actually placed a call to 911 at 4:00 am.

“I would like to order a pizza,” the woman told the 911 dispatcher. “I’m so stuck in here.”

“Okay. Are you aware you’re calling 911?” the confused dispatcher said.

“Yes, I’m sure I’m calling to that number, can I get a pizza” the woman replied.

Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood said that the 911 dispatcher was able to “triangulate her phone” to find her location.

“I would like to order pepperoni and extra cheese,” the woman said.

The 911 dispatcher was able to keep her on the line and determined that Hernandez-Moncayo was not armed.

Sheriff’s deputies save the day after the woman used some quick-thinking

“Deputies got out on foot, and began to search those ferneries,” Chitwood said. “Eventually, they heard loud music coming from a field. When they approached the sound, they discovered a male on top of a screaming female.”

Sheriff’s deputies discovered Hernandez-Moncayo on top of the woman.

“He’s trying to rape me. Can you help me?” the woman shouted when she heard someone was nearby.

Deputies pulled Hernandez-Moncayo’s body off her and arrested him.

“Thank you, Lord!” the woman said while crying. “Thank you, Jesus.”

Sheriff Chitwood said that the illegal alien had applied for asylum the day before he was arrested.

“When you watch the video … if you’re a father, if you’re a grandfather, if you’re a brother, and you hear those screams coming from our victim, it makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up,” Chitwood said about the bodycam footage.

Chitwood noted that drug use caused Hernandez-Moncayo to go berserk.

“During this outing, he did a line of cocaine, and she said he did a 180, and he became extremely violent and wouldn’t let her go and tried to rape her,” Chitwood stated.

Now, Henandez-Moncayo is waiting in jail to be handed over to federal authorities.

“He’s now sitting in jail, charged with attempted sexual battery, battery by strangulation, and false imprisonment, with an immigration detainer from the U.S. Border Patrol,” Chitwood posted to X.

The Biden-Harris border crisis has let countless criminals pour into the country and put Americans in danger.
