She only planned to listen to music and have a few drinks with a male friend.
But she suddenly found herself alone in the middle of nowhere with a madman.
And pretending to order a pizza saved this Florida woman from the worst night of her life.
Sexual assault is a serious crime that affects millions of Americans.
On average, there are 463,634 victims (age 12 or older) of rape and sexual assault each year in the United States.
This is equal to one American being sexually assaulted every 68 seconds.
Young people between the ages of 12 and 34 are in the highest risk group for rape and sexual assault, and women make up the overwhelming majority of victims.
Many Americans are not aware of the fact that 80% of victims are assaulted by someone they know instead of a stranger.
But a Florida woman recently found this out down in the rural town of Pierson.
It all started around 4:30 a.m. when the Volusia Sheriff’s Office 911 Communications Center received a call from a woman who said, “I would like to order a pizza.”
“Okay. Are you aware you’re calling 911?” the dispatcher asked the woman.
The dispatcher knew something was wrong when the woman said, “Yes, I’m sure I’m calling to that number.”
The woman then stayed on the line and pretended to order a pepperoni pizza with extra cheese as the dispatcher asked her questions.
The dispatcher was able to tell that she was in trouble and instantly alerted the police about a woman who seemed to be kidnapped and was speaking in code.
The police were able to use the woman’s phone to track her location in Pierson.
Deputies went to the area where the phone had been tracked and they found the victim in a fernery with a madman on top of her.
In the bodycam footage, the woman can be heard screaming, “He’s trying to rape me!”
“We’re here, we’re here,” the deputy responded.
“Thank God, thank God,” the terrified woman screams. “He tried to rape me.”
The officers jumped on the evil man and put him in handcuffs.
The assailant was 27-year-old Luis Diego Hernandez-Moncayo.
Hernandez-Moncayo is an illegal alien who entered the country through Kamala Harris’ open border.
He was charged with attempted sexual battery, battery by strangulation, and false imprisonment.
“I can’t say enough about the great work shown in this video and the smart thinking of this victim who figured out a way to call for help,” Sheriff Mike Chitwood said.
According to Volusia County officials, the illegal alien had just applied for asylum in the United States the day before he assaulted the woman.
Kamala Harris’ border crisis now threatens the safety of every man, woman, and child in the United States.
And the border crisis could help put Donald Trump back in the White House.
