Joe Biden made this wrong decision after a flight to Haiti went to hell and back

Nov 20, 2024

The clocking is ticking on Joe Biden’s time in the White House.

He is dropping the ball on another situation and putting Americans at risk.

And Joe Biden made this wrong decision after a flight to Haiti went to hell and back.

Spirit Airlines flight hit with gunfire trying to land in Haiti

The Caribbean nation of Haiti is in political turmoil because of violence from heavily armed gangs who are warring with what is left of the country’s government.

Haiti has dealt with political instability after a revolving door of acting prime ministers has left the country leaderless.

Gang violence flared up early this year as they captured 85% of the capital city of Port-au-Prince.

Air travel at the country’s main international airport was shut down in Port-au-Prince earlier this year after gangs took control of it.

The Biden-Harris administration allowed travel to resume but there have been several near misses with flights trying to land there.

A Spirit Airlines flight from Fort Lauderdale, Florida was struck by gunfire trying to land at the Port-au-Prince airport and had to be rerouted to an airport at Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic.

That was the third time this year that a plane trying to land in Haiti has been hit with gunfire.

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) officials announced that all flights into Haiti had been suspended for 30 days as a response to the Spirit Airlines flight being attacked.

Former NFL player wonders why Joe Biden is not doing something

Former New York Giants safety Jack Brewer runs a charity that helps build churches in Haiti and provides medical care and ministry to the residents.

He said that his Jack Brewer Foundation regularly flies into the Toussaint Louverture International Airport in Port-au-Prince where the Spirit Airlines flight was shot.

Brewer said that President Joe Biden should do more after American planes have been subjected to “terrorist” attacks at the airport.

The former NFL player thought a firm threat against the Haitian gangs from the American government would have them back down.

“They give FAA ground-stops for verbal threats… you don’t do FAA ground-stops when your planes are getting shot in the sky – you do military action,” Brewer said.

“I would give them 24 hours. I tell all those gang members, whether it’s ‘Barbecue’ or whomever, all the gang members, just know you’ve got 24 hours to throw your guns in [or have] the U.S. military in there and smoke them all out,” Brewer added.  ‘Barbecue’ is the nickname for Haitian gang leader/warlord Jimmy Cherizier.

Brewer, a Republican and supporter of President-elect Donald Trump, wondered where the concern about Haiti was from black Democrats in Congress.

He noted that Democrats care an awful lot about a war halfway around the world in Ukraine.

“They’ll talk about Black Lives Matter and cops and all these other scenarios, but when you have this, the first independent black nation in the world that’s in utter chaos, and we’re going to sit back here and do nothing about it,” Brewer said. “And it should be a sign to all of the American people just how these Democrats on the left and their woke politics are nothing about except for themselves. If they can’t raise money for it, where it doesn’t benefit them politically, they stay out of it.”

Haiti is yet another crisis that has spiraled out of control under the failed leadership of Joe Biden.
