Dismantling the Deep State is one of the highest priorities for conservatives next year.
The incoming Trump administration has the silver bullet to do it.
And Laura Ingraham revealed one plan to smash the Deep State to Anna Paulina Luna.
New Trump nominee could be the key to dismantling the Deep State
The occupant in the White House changes but the unelected federal bureaucrats who work in the federal agencies stay the same in the Washington, D.C. Swamp.
President-elect Donald Trump had his first term in office undermined by these rogue actors in the Deep State.
Dismantling the Deep State has become a top priority for the second Trump administration.
Fox News host Laura Ingraham highlighted one of the little-known appointees by Trump who will play a key role in his new administration during a discussion with Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) on her show The Ingraham Angle.
“Right now, the President has picked all the top jobs for the administration,” Ingraham said. “OMB’s [Office of Management and Budget] filled with Russ Vought, who is really the architect of the idea of how to take these Schedule F employees and basically, systematically remove them from the federal bureaucracy. That’s scaring a lot of bureaucrats in Washington tonight.”
Ingraham predicted that some federal employees could be searching for new jobs soon.
“Look, Russ could not be a better pick,” Luna responded. “I know that not only he’s an absolute patriot, but he’s very serious about cleaning up D.C.
Democrats fume over game-changing Schedule F executive order
Civil service protections make it nearly impossible for the President to fire most of the employees who work in the executive branch.
Trump issued a Schedule F executive order at the end of his first term that would reclassify many federal employees as political appointees which makes it easier to fire them after stripping them of their civil service protections.
President Joe Biden rescinded the executive order for Schedule F shortly after taking office in 2021.
Trump’s former and future Office of Management and Budget director Russ Vought was one of the people who produced the Schedule F executive order.
Vought explained how President Trump could use Schedule F during an interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
“You’ve got to know how to fire them, and there are tools to do that,” Vought explained. “The President was innovating in that space himself with what’s called Schedule F, essentially saying, if you work for me and you’re a policy or career official—think your attorneys who are writing regulations—then we’re going to create a new classification for you, and you are going to be what most of the country is, which is an at-will employee.”
Democrats are getting nervous about the possibility of Trump cleaning house with Schedule F.
Representative Sean Casten (D-IL) lashed out at Laura Ingraham on social media for her mentioning Schedule F.
“With all the respect you deserve… STFU, Ingraham,” Casten wrote on X. “It takes massive experience and expertise to understand veterans issues at the VA, seniors needs at the SSA, energy issues at FERC, housing markets at HUD… replacing those people with political hacks will destroy America.”
