A Florida woman discovered this nightmare in her garage after moving into her new home

Dec 5, 2024

Moving into a new home always has a unique set of headaches.

But nothing prepared a woman for what she had to go through.

And a Florida woman discovered this nightmare in her garage after moving into her new home.

Florida woman’s garage was overrun with hundreds of tiny frogs

Lenora Ramsey-Schooley was excited to move into her new home in Deltona, Florida from out of state.

She quickly discovered that she had some unwanted guests residing there.

Hundreds of tiny frogs had made their home in her garage.

“We just moved to Florida, and as you can see, we are currently undergoing what seems to be an infestation of sorts,” Ramsey-Schooley said. “These are not crickets. These are not bugs. These are, in fact, frogs. Little teeny, tiny frogs. And they’re everywhere.”

The tiny frogs were everywhere in her garage.

“Our garage turned into a mini-pond playground for frogs overnight,” Ramsey-Schooley stated.

She planned to use her garage as a space for extra storage.

The frogs were crawling on the ground, walls, and things she was storing there.

“They just keep coming in the waves and masses,” Ramsey-Schooley explained. “Apparently I’m a frog mom now, so send help up, I guess.”

Ramsey-Schooley pointed out that some of the frogs gathered up like they were in a pack while some of them wandered around solo.

“The biggest thing right now is just really trying not to step on any of them,” Ramsey-Schooley said. “There’s so many. They’re so tiny.”

She hoped that she would be able to release them back into the wild from her garage.

In the meantime, she set up some water for them in the garage.

“I set this up because I don’t want them to die, I’m not that person,” Ramsey-Schooley stated. “Apparently I’m a frog mom now.”

The frog infestation happened in an instant

Ramsey-Schooley said in another video that her garage was clear when she moved in.

The tiny frogs took it over in a matter of hours.

“I cleaned our garage today, and this wasn’t like this. This happened about an hour and a half ago,” Ramsey-Schooley explained. “There are [now] hundreds, if not a thousand in here.”

It only took a couple of days for them to move on to their next destination.

She planned to open the garage door to let them out.

“They’ve all gone to bed. That’s what I’m gonna call it. It’s really weird. I’ve never seen this before,” Ramsey said in video. “In the morning, we’re gonna open the garage and let all of them out, and they can go live their happy little [lives]. But for now, we’re just gonna close the door, and we’re gonna just let them go night-night … “

But they were able to find their way on their own.

“I guess I was just an overnight stop, because most of them are gone,” Ramsey-Schooley said. “Anywho, it was a pleasure to be the Frog Motel Hotel for overnight. Bye, little dudes. Well, stay as long as you’d like, I guess.”
