The security for Donald Trump has increased now that he is the President-elect.
Nothing is being spared to keep him safe.
And Mar-a-Lago has one futuristic security upgrade that put Donald Trump’s jaw on the floor.
A robot dog named Spot keeps watch outside of Mar-a-Lago
President-elect Donald Trump survived two assassination attempts against him earlier this year.
The Secret Service deployed the latest in security technology to help secure his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida after the election.
A video showed a group of children playing at Trump’s Florida estate with a robot dog patrolling in the background.

The robot dog named Spot is made by Boston Dynamics and has been patrolling the grounds at Mar-a-Lago since the election.
Spot is four feet long and two feet tall and can move about five feet per second.
The robot dogs operated by the Secret Service have the reminder “Do Not Pet” written on their legs.
“USSS TSD” is written on Spot which stands for United States Secret Service Technical Security Division.
“Safeguarding the President-elect is a top priority,” Secret Service spokesman Bob Page told the Palm Beach Daily News. “The robotic dogs at Mar-a-Lago are Secret Service assets and while we cannot discuss the specific number or their capabilities, we can say the robotic dogs are equipped with surveillance technology, and an array of advanced sensors that support our protective operations.”
Robot dogs were spotted at the NATO Summit this summer
The Secret Service used the Boston Dynamics robot dog at the NATO Summit held in Washington, D.C. this summer.
A video posted by the Secret Service revealed that they are a part of the agency’s Autonomous Systems and Technical Robotic Operation (ASTRO) program.
Similar to a real dog, these advanced robots can sniff out a wide variety of threats using their sensors.
“The robot has a lot of uses. The robot right now is outfitted with a CBRN payload, which is chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear, where it can detect different threat agents and report back to a user that is operating it remotely,” Secret Service physical scientist Angela Edwards said.
“I like to say that the robot increases the situational awareness of the user, because we have so many cameras and the ability to put so many different types of cameras,” Edwards added.

The robot dogs come equipped with thermal and high-resolution cameras to detect potential threats.
Spot uses artificial intelligence (AI) from Florida-based company Levatas to make some of its decisions but is operated by a human.
Boston Dynamics claimed the robot dog has a wide variety of security applications.
“For security reasons, we cannot comment on specific USSS applications,” a Boston Dynamics spokesman said. “In general, Spot keeps people out of harm’s way and is used in a wide variety of public safety tasks.”
The robot dogs are being sold for $75,000 and are being used by the Massachusetts State Police, Chevron, and Florida Power & Light.
Donald Trump’s security has gone to the next level with the use of innovative robots to help secure Mar-a-Lago.
