Left-wing politicians are always scheming up new ways to deceive conservatives.
They are determined to push their radical woke ideology onto the masses, and they will do anything to force states to adopt a leftist agenda.
Even pay them to do it.
Under the Biden administration, the feds dangled federal funds to states to “help” them, but there was a catch.
For states to take the cash, they had to agree to implement a slew of left-wing programs.
But Ron DeSantis did not take the bait.
And according to DeSantis, while every other state in the country took the money, Florida rejected it for one major reason.
Ideological strings attached
No other Governor in America has done more to stop the woke agenda in their state than Ron DeSantis.
From going after “drag queens” who target kids to standing up to pro-LGBT Disney execs, DeSantis has preserved Florida from the consequences of going woke.
But in a startling revelation, DeSantis revealed the Biden administration tried to lure Florida to accept federal funds if they agreed to implement left-wing programs.
DeSantis flat-out refused.
“Under my leadership, the state of Florida has actually rejected billions of dollars in federal funding because they had ideological strings attached,” DeSantis said.
He continued, “They wanted us to change our behavior, so you accept the money from them and then you give them power over how the state conducts operations. That I refuse to do.”
“I’m not going to let them come in and contort our operations just so we can get some crumbs from these federal spending projects,” DeSantis continued.
While other states were willing to do anything for more funds, DeSantis was not.
But when he rejected the funds, he was stunned to find out the result.
An inefficient federal government
Conservatives have long railed against the incompetence and inefficiency of the federal government.
The bloated bureaucrats in D.C. are fat and happy, using American tax dollars to fund their latest pet projects.

And DeSantis proved yet again exactly why DOGE is needed.
When Florida rejected Biden’s federal money and even tried to give the money back, DeSantis was stunned there was no mechanism in the federal government set up to return the funds.
“When do you ever see a state working to return money to the federal government? Florida is not only out in front on DOGE efforts but under @GovRonDeSantis, it has already rejected federal funds tied to perverse ideological agendas,” Casey DeSantis posted on X.
DeSantis shared the post and added, “And yet the Biden admin lacked a mechanism to receive the money we wanted to give back… I’m sure @elonmusk and the DOGE team will correct this…”
