Some drivers just cannot keep their cool on the road
Anger can boil over in a flash.
And a Florida mom suffered an awful tragedy after this road incident went wrong.
Single mom killed in a road rage incident in Florida
Georgeann Park Garner, a 48-year-old was celebrating her birthday at the St. Andrews Mardi Gras parade in Panama City, Florida, with her 19-year-old daughter, Marleigh Lewis, and friends.
The single mother of two left the celebration with her daughter and two friends to grab dinner at a restaurant.
Garner was involved in a minor fender bender with 23-year-old Jubal Simmons and his girlfriend, 21-year-old Ivybella Encino.
A dispute broke out between them after the accident.
“An occupant from Miss Garner’s vehicle went back to this Encino vehicle and struck Miss Encino and that was the conclusion of it. It wasn’t a big drawn-out brawl or anything like that,” Panama City Police Department Captain Chris Nichol told WMBB.
Witnesses shot a disturbing video of the encounter.

Two men were seen arguing next to the vehicles, and they went back to their vehicles with the dispute seemingly resolved.
One driver retreated back to a gray Dodge Ram pickup truck.
The Dodge Ram pulled up next to the red GMC Terrian SUV that Garnder was driving.
There were 11 shots fired, and the Ram sped away from the scene.
Garner had been shot in the passenger seat, and her 19-year-old daughter was shot in the chest.
The police took them to a local hospital, where Garner died.
Her daughter was in critical condition from the gunshot wound.
Garner’s two friends were unharmed in the incident.

“We also had an officer in a nearby parking lot that heard the shots and saw a vehicle fleeing from the scene. The officer got behind that gray Dodge Ram and attempted a traffic stop, which then turned into a fleeing event. The officer pursued that vehicle north on Highway 231, eventually landing in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn near the intersection of Highway [231] and Highway 77. The vehicle continued to attempt to flee officers, eventually ramming one of our units,” Nichol stated.
The Dodge Ram was disabled, and Simmons tried to flee the scene on foot.
Police officers tracked Simmons down and arrested him.
He faces nine criminal charges, including murder, three counts of attempted murder, tampering with evidence, and fleeing the scene of a crime.
Encino was charged with being an accessory to murder, aggravated battery of a police officer, fleeing the police, and driving with a suspended license.
A GoFundMe set up for Garner and her daughter, Marileigh Lewis, warned that the 19-year-old had a long road to recovery.
“Marileigh suffered a bullet to the chest and almost lost her life too. She is currently in the ICU with extensive damage. She will need time to heal, and her medical bills will be extensive and expensive,” the GoFundMe appeal stated.
Jubal Simmons is facing spending the rest of his life behind bars because he could not control his anger over a minor fender bender.
