A Florida sheriff made one bust that revealed this grim reality about life under Biden-Harris

The lawless Biden-Harris administration has been a catastrophe for the country.

States are being forced to clean up their mess.

And a Florida sheriff made one bust that revealed this grim reality about life under Biden-Harris.

Florida law enforcement confiscates enough fentanyl to kill three million people

Fentanyl is a scourge that is plaguing every state in the country under President Joe Biden.

And Florida is one of the hardest hit states in the drug epidemic.

The Citrus County, Florida Sheriff’s Office took part in a joint task force that resulted in the biggest fentanyl bust in the county’s history.

“Enough fentanyl to kill over three million people has been taken off the streets in this one operation,” Citrus County Sheriff Mike Prendergast said.

Two milligrams of fentanyl can be lethal to most people according to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

Law enforcement estimated that the street value of the deadly drug was $735,000.

Officers with the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office Tactical Impact Unit, United States Department of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Tampa, DEA, and the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office partnered to make the bust.

Law enforcement raided a home in Homosassa, Florida, located north of Tampa, where they found more than 13 pounds of fentanyl, 150 grams of methamphetamine, 22 guns, and over $10,000 in cash.

“We will never tolerate drug trafficking in Citrus County,” Prendergast warned. “Thanks to this unified effort with our local, state, and federal partners, another illegal drug organization has been shut down. I continue to fulfill the promise I made on day one as your Sheriff: Illicit narcotics will not be tolerated in Citrus County.”

Fentanyl being hidden in other drugs

Fentanyl has become the leading cause of death for Americans aged 18-49.

Many of the people who die from overdoses from it never intended to take the lethal drug.

“The fentanyl seized was in several forms. There were pressed kilogram “bricks” stamped with the organization’s trademark and thousands of individual fentanyl pills stamped to look like prescription opioids, such as 10 mg oxycodone and ‘Percocet,’” The Citrus County Sheriff’s office wrote on social media.

DEA officials warned that a growing amount of fake prescription drugs are beginning to circulate that have fentanyl in them.

“These counterfeit pills coincide with DEA’s Public Safety Alert, where they found that 6 out of 10 fentanyl-laced fake prescription pills now contain a potentially lethal dose of fentanyl. Meaning that any person who buys prescription pills other than at a legitimate pharmacy may unknowingly be getting a potentially lethal dose of fentanyl,” the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office stated.

The border crisis has allowed the Mexican drug cartels to flood the country with fentanyl.

Grieving mother Anne Funder gave a speech at the Republican National Convention in July where she blamed Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for her 15-year-old son dying of a fentanyl overdose.

“My family and I were living in southern California when President Biden took office and opened our borders,” Funder said. “I hold Joe Biden, Kamala Harris — the ‘Border Czar,’ what a joke — and Gavin Newsom and every Democrat who supports open borders responsible for the death of my son.”
