The media is doing damage control about Hurricane Helene to protect Democrats.
Journalists want to bury the damning evidence about what is happening on the ground.
And a Florida State Guardsman revealed one big lie the media told about the hurricane.
Florida sends help to storm-ravaged North Carolina
Hurricane Helene made landfall in Florida but the worst damage the storm inflicted was in the Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina.
A record amount of rainfall created historic flooding in the region which left entire towns under water.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was able to quickly stabilize things in his state after Helene hit.
He launched Operation Blue Ridge to send personnel from Florida state agencies to assist with search and rescue missions and disaster relief in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee.
The Biden-Harris administration was slow to react to the devastation in Western North Carolina.
Charities and private citizens took the lead in the region because FEMA was nowhere to be found.
But the media tried to protect Vice President Kamala Harris and Democrats by falsely claiming that any criticism of the federal government’s response was misinformation.
The Florida State Guard Special Missions Unit was one of the units that DeSantis deployed to North Carolina.
Guardsman Jonathan Howard of the unit was working on aerial rescues.
He said that everything coming out of the media about North Carolina was a lie.
“I had my team up here working as well. Here’s the problem,” Howard said. “I’m going to tell you everything that’s happening from the ground, what I’m actually seeing, because what they’re telling you is complete bulls**t on the news and these politicians don’t have a f**king clue and they’re lying.”
The federal government is letting people die
Howard slammed the federal response in North Carolina for being incompetent.
The military and the National Guard were almost nonexistent in rescue operations.
He said that with more helicopters they would be able to save the lives of people that were stranded by the flooding.
“Without helicopters, I can’t reach these people,” Howard explained. “It doesn’t matter how many chainsaws and trucks I got; I can’t get to them. They’re 10 miles in, 20 miles, 40 miles in the mountains. There’s no way to get with them or even communicate with them.”
He said that he was flying in a civilian helicopter and rescuing people.
Local law enforcement in Lake Lure, North Carolina were keeping the media from filming the destruction.
“And they’re not even allowing people to see what’s really going on,” Howard said. “One of our friends yesterday, they were actually escorting CNN down to Lake Lure and they wouldn’t even let CNN, the sheriff department would not let them go videotape the bad areas of how destructive it is. I don’t know why they don’t want to show you all that, but I mean, it is bad.”
Howard saw the military at the Asheville Airport, but they were waiting on orders to begin operating.
“I saw two Air Force helicopter sixties and I knew there were PJs [Pararescue] just looking at them,” Howard stated. “And I went up to him like, Hey guys, like what are y’all doing? And like, this is what you need to be doing. This, this, this, this is how I’m finding people. And they’re like, we can’t go. We’re waiting on title 10 orders.”
“It is just the most disgusting thing and they’re killing these people,” Howard continued. “And I don’t know why they’re doing it. I don’t know what kind of conspiracy I’ve heard so many things, whatever you want to come up with, but they are literally allowing these people to f**king die in the mountains right now because we can’t get helicopters.”
