A Florida stripper used a banana in one way that gave this 7-Eleven clerk nightmares

Feb 11, 2025

People who work at 24-hour convenience stores get to see a lot of strange and unusual behavior.

From would-be criminals to frustrated shoppers with anger management issues, convenience store clerks have seen it all.

But a Florida stripper used a banana in one way that gave this 7-Eleven clerk nightmares.

Bananas are the most popular fruit in the world and are the 4th most-grown crop behind rice, wheat, and corn.

The average American consumes around 11 pounds of bananas per year.

This is roughly the same size as four American footballs or two Chihuahua dogs.

While most people think of bananas as food, they have been used for a variety of non-food purposes over the years.

Bananas have been used to make paper and as a source of fiber for textiles.

But sometimes people use bananas as a weapon.

And a 7-Eleven clerk in Clearwater, Florida recently found this out the hard way.

It all started when 22-year-old stripper Caltaeviya Turner entered the 7-Eleven and began exchanging derogatory remarks with the cashier, 30-year-old Taylor Nagy.

“Defendant was a customer at the above location and got into a verbal altercation with the store clerk (Taylor Nagy),” the police report read. “Defendant and the store clerk made derogatory comments towards each other.”

The argument escalated and turned violent.

But what happened next will make you laugh out loud.

“Defendant became irate and picked up a banana from the cashier counter and threw the banana at the victim’s face,” the police report read.

The banana struck the employee “on the cheek bone and left a minor abrasion.”

According to the police report, the banana was not seized as evidence.

But Turner was arrested and charged with battery.

“Police records list Turner’s employer as Baby Dolls, a Clearwater gentleman’s club located four miles from the 7-Eleven outlet,” Smoking Gun reported.

Apparently, this is not Turner’s first time going to jail.

She had an earlier conviction for grand theft after she stole $800 worth of merchandise from a Walmart store.

Turner was also previously arrested for resisting police officers and for providing a false name during a trespassing call at the strip club where she works.

Since she has failed to meet several court-ordered requirements, Turner is being held without bond.

“Turner was also recently arrested for resisting and giving cops a false name when they responded to a trespass call at Baby Dolls,” the Smoking Gun reported. “She was free on $1000 bond in that case when she was collared for the alleged banana battery.”

Turner is not the only person to ever commit battery with a banana.

An Iowa man was arrested in 2019 after he assaulted a convenience store clerk with a banana and caused $1,000 worth of damages.
