A Never Trump RINO was caught in this awful robbery in Florida

Aug 29, 2024

The Never Trump is in complete shambles with Donald Trump firmly in control of the party.

Now, one of their leaders is exposed as a total fraud.

And a Never Trump RINO was caught in this awful robbery in Florida.

RINO Ben Sasse bilks Florida taxpayers out of millions

The Never Trump liked to claim that their principles and morals led them to oppose former President Donald Trump.

But they are being exposed as frauds.

RINO former U.S. Senator Ben Sasse (R-NE) was one of the leaders of the Never Trump movement in Congress during Trump’s Presidency.

He teamed up with Democrats to vote to impeach Trump for the January 6 hoax in 2021.

Sasse resigned from the Senate in 2023 to take a job as the president of the University of Florida.

He vowed to make major reforms to the university to modernize and streamline its operation.

But he bailed on his job as Florida’s president after 17 months leaving behind a wake of controversy.

Sasse claimed he was stepping down due to a health situation with his wife.

The Alligator, Florida’s student newspaper, uncovered outrageous spending by the alleged fiscal conservative and cushy remote work jobs doled out to his friends.

Sasse hired six of his former Senate staffers and two GOP officials to jobs at Florida.

The budget for the president’s office jumped from $5.6 million to $17 million.

“We found he hired some of his former senate staff in positions at the university and two Republican officials,” Alligator editor Garrett Shanley said. “He allowed all but one to work out of the state and commute to the university when needed.”

Sasse also spent millions on secretive consulting contracts as president.

The office of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Florida Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis called for investigations into Sasse’s spending.

But the robbery of Florida taxpayers was worse than anyone imagined.

The Tampa Bay Times reported that Sasse’s severance agreement with Florida will have the university pay him one million dollars per year through 2028.

And health insurance for his family will continue to be covered by the school.

Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) demanded an end to taxpayer-funded golden parachutes like Sasse received.

“Golden Parachutes like this should be illegal with taxpayer funds,” Gaetz wrote on X. “At least the FSU loss to Georgia Tech was to engineers. The Gators haven’t lost to Nebraska like this since Tommy Frazier was handing the ball to Lawrence Phillips.”

Gaetz referenced the 1996 Fiesta Bowl where the Nebraska Cornhuskers routed the Florida Gators by a score of 62-14.

Sasse boasted about his alleged conservative principles in the Senate and falsely accused Trump’s family of profiting from the Presidency.

The University of Florida presidency became a business opportunity for Sasse and his cronies.
