Florida man tries to disperse crowd of Tesla protestors with his car
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has become the newest villain for the Left over his work with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
Democrats loved Tesla until he began helping President Donald Trump.
Left-wing activist groups are organizing protests outside of Tesla dealerships nationwide against Musk.
A protest was held on the sidewalk next to a Tesla dealership in Palm Beach County, Florida.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said that 44-year-old Andrew Dutil walked into the dealership and told the employees that he supports Tesla.
Dutil went outside and used his Nissan SUV to try to disperse the crowd of protestors on the sidewalk.
He allegedly drove his SUV on the sidewalk at a slow speed, which sent the protestors fleeing.
Police arrived on the scene to find Dutil’s SUV parked on the curb surrounded by protestors.
Witnesses said that Dutil had driven past the crowd before shouting at them.
The police arrested him without incident and charged him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.
Protests are planned outside the West Palm Beach Tesla every Saturday until the end of April.
The Democratic Progressive Caucus organized the anti-Tesla protest.
“We’re outraged and we’re appalled,” Democratic Progressive Caucus official Mark Offerman said. “What we hope to do here in Palm Beach County, where the nerve center of the GOP is, is wake everybody up to this fact.”
Palm Beach County is the home of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.
“Mar-a-Lago is here. Trump is here. This is his home,” Offerman continued. “We have big problems with the way that our government functions, and find it very anti-American. So we want to wake people up, and we’re taking on this national call.”
Violence and vandalism continue outside Tesla dealerships
Tesla dealerships and charging stations have been the target of vandalism and violence by the left-wing mob.
Dealerships have been shot at, and Teslas have been attacked with Molotov cocktails in addition to the typical vandalism with spray paint.
Attorney General Pam Bondi announced that three people had been arrested for “domestic terrorism” against Tesla dealerships.
The FBI said that there have been at least nine attacks since January targeting Tesla.
“These criminal actions appear to have been conducted by lone offenders, and all known incidents occurred at night,” the FBI said. “Individuals require little planning to use rudimentary tactics, such as improvised incendiary devices and firearms, and may perceive these attacks as victimless property crimes.”
FBI Director Kash Patel announced that a task force has been launched to crack down on Tesla attacks.
“This is domestic terrorism. Those responsible will be pursued, caught, and brought to justice,” Patel said.
Left-wing activists are using terror and intimidation against Tesla to get Musk to back out of his role in the Trump administration.
