The harpies on The View are on edge after Kamala Harris was routed in the election.
Sparks were flying on set after a secret meeting in Florida.
And a trip to Florida caused the hosts of The View to have this epic meltdown.
MSNBC’s Morning Joe makes a surprise trip to Mar-a-Lago to visit Donald Trump
Democrats have tuned into MSNBC’s Morning Joe for years to get their daily dose of Trump hatred to go with their morning coffee.
Hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski spent the entire election telling their viewers that President-elect Donald Trump was a potential Adolf Hitler and a dangerous threat to democracy.
The pair left their audience speechless when they announced that they had made a secret trip to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida to meet with the President-elect.
Brzezinski said the powwow with Trump was an attempt to “restart communications” and part of a “new approach” to their coverage of the incoming administration.
For MSNBC viewers this was akin to Batman having a friendly cup of coffee with the Joker.
“We were given the opportunity to do just that. Joe and I went to Mar-a-Lago to meet personally with President-elect Trump. It was the first time we have seen him in seven years,” Brzezinski said.
Scarborough revealed they had an amicable conversation with Trump about a wide variety of topics.
“Joe and I realized it’s time to do something different and that starts with not only talking about Donald Trump, but also talking with him,” Brzezinski added.
The View spars over Morning Joe’s trip to see Trump
Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski’s trip to visit Trump sparked outrage from Democrats and their media allies who have spent nearly a decade treating the President-elect as Satan incarnate.
The co-hosts of ABC’s The View sparred amongst each other over the Morning Joe crew making the trip to Mar-a-Lago.
Co-host Sunny Hostin criticized them for speaking to Trump in person.
“I don’t think you need to sit down for 90 minutes at Mar-a-Lago and kiss his ring to be able to speak truth and to be able to cover a story,” Hostin stated. “So maybe they’re not journalists in the true sense. Maybe they’re saying that they’re opinion journalists, but we have to remember that Trump is the guy who ushered in the era of fake news.”
Co-host Ana Navarro suggested that Scarborough and Brzezinski were being opportunistic.
“I will never sit with him,” Navarro sneered. “think there’s a lot of people who are probably looking at what Joe and Mika did and find it opportunistic.” “There are people who change their stripes, or maybe their spots, I should say, today, depending on who is in power and what benefits them.”
Navarro claimed she could not speculate why the MSNBC hosts made the decision.
Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said that Morning Joe made the right call to meet with Trump.
“I don’t think this is opportunistic, but I think they recognize that 75 million people voted for this guy,” Griffin said. “He will be in power, short of something like an impeachment, for the next four years.”
The media is slowly coming to grips with the fact that they are going to have to cover Donald Trump for four more years in the White House.
