A trip to the principal’s office is never good for a student.
It was even worse than one student could have imagined.
And a Vice Principal was arrested for one awful request to a Florida student.
Florida Vice Principal arrested after having student rub her feet
Government schools have seen an increasing number of incidents of inappropriate behavior by female employees toward male students.
A Vice Principal in Florida was arrested after getting a 13-year-old middle school student to massage her feet during school hours.
Vice Principal Dr. Keiva Lark, 53, called a student at Lake Marion Creek Middle School in Poinciana, Florida who had gotten in trouble for throwing paper during a test.
The student told police that Lark told him to “rub her feet, since he didn’t have anything better to do with his hands.”
She took off her shoes and put her legs on his lap.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said that Lark was heard instructing the student on how to massage her feet and scolding him for not doing it the right way.
Witnesses told the police that they heard her tell the 13-year-old to “rub her feet like he loved her” and that the massage was “so he would know what foreplay is when he gets a girlfriend.”
Lark later told one of the staffers at the middle school that she crossed a line with the student.
Creepy Vice Principal does not get fired
Lark told police that she needed to “humble” the student because nothing else had worked disciplining him.
She was charged with lascivious conduct and lewd offense against a student by an authority figure.
The middle school placed her on administrative leave pending an internal investigation.
Lark claimed that she acted inappropriately for her job but did not say anything out of line to the student.
The Florida Department of Children and Families and the Polk County School Board were alerted about her actions.
“This is abhorrent behavior for anyone who works among students, especially an administrator. This person no longer has any business being around children. We commend the school principal for immediately reporting this incident, so we could take action and work with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office to protect students,” Polk County Public Schools Superintendent Frederick Heid stated.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd slammed Lark for trying to downplay the disturbing incident.
“Dr. Lark initially told detectives that this was only a joke, and that she was just trying to humble the victim,” Judd said. “It’s completely inappropriate for a 53-year old woman to act and talk like this to a middle school boy. It’s even worse given that this was an assistant principal and her student.”
Judd noted that this was an act of evil by an authority figure.
“She had a 13-year-old child that was at her school rub her feet. Did you hear what I said? That’s right. This was a sexual encounter,” Judd stated. “She didn’t think he was massaging them the right way. So she massaged his arms and his shoulders and then made the statement like, this will help teach you foreplay for when you have a girlfriend. That’s how evil this conduct was. So she’s in jail.”
Parents never know who is in charge of their children in government schools.
