Walmart shoppers are an interesting combination of broke college kids, and suburban moms looking for a deal . . .
. . . and everyone else who fits into the “people of Walmart” stereotype.
And the latest wild Walmart brawl proves the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree.
Obnoxious juvenile punks
Today’s generation is composed of loud and crass teenagers who genuinely believe the world revolves around them.
“Gentle parenting” has turned kids into hellions who have never had a good whooping to set them straight.
And it shows.
Because of bad parenting, everyday citizens are forced to interact with rude hoodlums who are up to no good.
After all, there is nothing worse than heading to the store after a long day to pick up a few items only to encounter a group of teenagers causing trouble.
And at one Florida Walmart, police were called after young teens (under the age of 16) were causing a scene by riding their bikes all around the store while yelling and cursing at customers.
What punks!
But when the police called the dad of one delinquent child, an unexpected twist proved everything that is wrong with society.
Like father, like son
In the good old days, if a police officer ever had to call a parent because a teen was acting out that teen knew when he got home, he would wish the cop took him to jail.
Parents used to have control over their children.
But these days, their lack of control is causing chaos.
And it turns out bad parenting has a generational effect.
When 34-year-old Jonah Harrington arrived to pick up his teenage son who was causing a disturbance, he was furious.
But not at his son.
Instead of putting his son in the car and handling his business, Harrington lashed out at the police officer.
Harrington had the audacity to actually shove the police officer and when other law enforcement officials got involved, he hit another one on the hand, leaving the third officer no choice but to put him in handcuffs, Fox 35 reported.
A tragic outcome
What a role model!
It is no wonder the teen hooligans are out of control these days when their own parents are just as bad.
Police officers familiar with the incident agreed.
Sheriff Rick Staly said “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. We asked parents to pick up their children because they were causing trouble, but this parent chose to attack our deputies instead,” Fox 35 reported.
Harrington faced multiple charges such as resisting arrest and three counts of battery against law enforcement.
It is a shame young kids today are not raised to act like normal functioning members of society.
But with dads like Harrington, whose violent outburst against police officers resulted in arrest, it is not a surprise his own son found himself in trouble with the law.
