Donald Trump will be armed with a Republican House and Senate when his second term kicks off on Monday.
Fixing the mess created by Joe Biden’s border crisis is Donald Trump’s top priority.
But all hell broke loose after Ron DeSantis dropped a truth bomb about H-1B visas on Donald Trump.
Joe Biden opened the southern border up to a record number of illegal aliens during his four years in the White House.
Since January of 2021, more than 12 million illegal aliens have crossed the border and entered the United States.
Many of these illegal aliens are hardened criminals with violent records.
The drain on local resources along with the skyrocketing crime made illegal immigration a top issue for voters in November.
Donald Trump won a landslide victory on a mandate to carry out the largest deportation program in American history starting on Day One of his administration.
Trump previously said he will declare a national emergency at the border and use military assets to help with the deportation program.
He also said he would start with the criminals as well as the more than one-million illegal aliens currently facing orders for removal.
While Trump’s supporters agree on the mass deportations, there is division in MAGA world over issuing H1-B skilled worker visas.
“Created in 1990 and intended for skilled foreign workers, the visa had until recently remained little known outside Silicon Valley, where technology companies use it to employ tens of thousands,” MSN reported. “Then late last month, Florida conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer, a high-profile supporter of President-elect Donald Trump, attacked employment of Indian tech workers in the U.S., sparking a cascade of public spats and vitriolic punditry that catapulted the H-1B into a sudden spotlight and exposed a rift over immigration inside Trump’s Make America Great Again movement.”
In 2016, Donald Trump ripped the H-1B program and promised to “end forever the use of the H-1B as a cheap labor program and institute an absolute requirement to hire American workers first for every visa and immigration program.”
“No exceptions,” Trump promised at the time.
But Trump is now singing a different tune on H-1B visas.
“I’ve always liked the visas, I have always been in favor of the visas,” he recently told the New York Post. “That’s why we have them,” he continued. “I have many H-1B visas on my properties, and I’ve been a believer in H-1B.”
“I have used it many times,” he added. “It’s a great program.”
However, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis disagrees with Donald Trump.
And DeSantis recently promised to select a replacement for Senator Marco Rubio who would “make sure that these visa programs aren’t being used to undermine American workers.”
“So H-1B visas have been used to bring in people who can perform tasks at much cheaper rates than American workers,” DeSantis said at a press conference. “So we’ve had situations where companies will bring in H-1B [workers], the U.S. workers will train their own replacements, and then they fire the American workers,” he continued. “How is that something in the best interest of the American people?”
“I think it’s been a horrible program in terms of how it’s done,” he added.

DeSantis called on Congress to “absolutely get involved in this program.”
“I think it’s really been rife with problems and abuses,” he said.
Donald Trump created a vacancy in the U.S. Senate when he selected Marco Rubio as his Secretary of State.
Rubio is a RINO.
In 2013, he worked with Chuck Schumer (D-NY) on the Gang of 8 bill that would have given mass amnesty to illegal aliens if not for the opposition of House Republicans.
Ron DeSantis gets the honor of selecting Rubio’s replacement who will serve in the seat for the remainder of the six-year term.
And he promised to select someone who agrees with his position on immigration and visas.
“That is not what the founding fathers intended so I want somebody who is going to go in there and be willing to reduce that down to size and to hold the wayward bureaucrats accountable,” he said.
