Driving can bring out the worst in people and cause even the most mild-mannered person to completely lose it.
But some people take road rage to a whole other level.
And an angry Florida driver got out of his car with a machete and made one shocking move.
Crazy drivers hit the road
Driving in challenging situations can be stressful and annoying.
Some people should not even have a license as they have no idea how to “get in the slow lane” or brake properly.
Other drivers freak out at the hint of rain or snow and drive so slow (in the fast lane) that traffic is backed up for miles.
And of course, there is always the “macho man” in the fast car who drives fast weaving in and out of cars to show how “cool he is”.
But while most people just roll their eyes at crazy drivers, or stay out of their way, other people completely lose their minds on the road.
And Florida man Phillip Mark Zmijewski was one of those drivers who simply could not take the stress of driving.
He began to tailgate a driver, terrorizing her for blocks as he flashed his lights at her, but then he escalated things to an insane level.

Why was Zmijewski so mad?
No one knows.
But he was.
After tailgating a woman driver for blocks, Zmijewski decided to get out of his car at the intersection and approach her to give her a piece of his mind.
But as he did, he stormed at her, swinging a machete, Fox 35 Orlando reported.

Who carries a machete in their car?
Apparently Zmijewski does.
The frightened woman reported she feared for her life, as she felt helpless as a raging lunatic approach her car swinging a machete.
Terrifying.
Do not mess with Florida sheriffs
While Zmijewski fled before law enforcement could intervene, he was eventually caught and arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
As he should have been!
Florida Sheriff Carmine Marceno said “No driver should be in fear while on the road. Road rage or violent exchanges of any kind won’t be tolerated,” Fox 35 Orlando reported.
“My deputies are dedicated to protecting the residents of Lee County, both on and off the streets.”
Some states may be soft on crime and let criminals run wild, but not Florida.
Ron DeSantis has set the bar high and the justice system will not tolerate violent maniacs terrorizing Floridians. And law enforcement officials in the state continue to excel at getting the bad guys off the streets.
Thankfully the woman was safe but this story could have had a different ending.
While liberals are obsessed with “banning guns” they fail to realize lunatics will use anything as a weapon to terrorize innocent people, even a machete.
Sounds like Zmijewski needs some anger management classes while he is behind bars.
