Joe Biden sends more money to Ukraine while storm victims suffer
President Joe Biden always is able to find more money to funnel to Ukraine.
He gave another $1.25 billion in military aid to Ukraine with his time in the White House winding down.
Biden previously announced a $988 million aid at the beginning of December after he and RINOs voted to give the country $61 billion last April.
Ukraine is being showered in money while Americans are suffering from the aftermath of two devastating hurricanes last fall.
Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) called the last funding to Ukraine “tone deaf” and proof the Biden administration is not “working on behalf of the American people” during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s The Ingraham Angle.
She noted that her Congressional district in Pinellas County, Florida had 13 residents killed by Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
“When the American people and Pinellas County residents found out that our own FEMA dollars were not just going to illegal immigrants, but then they are finding out that this administration wanted to, even just recently passed funding to go to Egypt, to Ukraine, and to every other country but America,” Lunda explained.
The Biden administration sent $1.3 billion in military aid in September and approved more than $1 billion in disaster relief to 31 African countries in December.
Biden’s connections to Ukraine raise questions about aid
Storm victims in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida are still suffering from the aftermath of the hurricanes.
Families in hard-hit Western North Carolina are still living in tents and their cars.
Luna told guest host Jason Chaffetz that the aid to Ukraine was a sign of how out of touch the Biden administration is.
“I just think that it goes to show that they are not in touch,” Luna stated. “They are not working on behalf of the American people, and frankly, Jason [Chaffetz], it is insulting as an American that we pay so much in taxes, and this is what they are choosing to do with them.”
She pointed out that Joe Biden had connections to Ukraine through his son Hunter Biden.
“We actually saw direct evidence that the Biden family was actually profiteering from Ukraine money going into their bank accounts, and then you see what they are doing in their last-ditch effort on the way out,” Luna explained.
The Biden administration is trying to send as much money and weapons to Ukraine as possible before President-elect Donald Trump takes office and begins to bring the war to a conclusion.
Luna noted that Trump would clean house in the federal government when he takes office.
“One of the things that the American people have to remember is, even though there are going to be obstructionist bureaucrats in Washington, that President Trump, in this incoming administration, is absolutely going to put the correct people in the head of these departments to flush out all of the people that would be obstructionist,” Luna said. “And frankly, if they do not want to play ball, they are fired.”
