The Deep State thought it would come into Florida and walk all over everyone.
A wake-up call was sent by the Sunshine State’s top attorney.
And Florida’s Attorney General left the Deep State reeling after she threw them this curveball.
Florida files a new charge against Donald Trump’s would-be assassin at his golf club
Florida began a parrel investigation into the attempted assassination of President-elect Donald Trump at his golf club in West Palm Beach in September.
The state said that the FBI who politically persecuted Trump could not be trusted to run the investigation.
Ryan Routh was arrested after he set up a sniper nest in a fence near one of the holes at Trump’s golf course.
He waited for the President-elect to play through but a Secret Service agent who was scouting ahead opened fire on him and sent him fleeing.
Routh was arrested in nearby Martin County by sheriff’s deputies.
Florida Attorney Ashley Moody announced that a new charge by the state would be filed against the would-be assassin for an accident he caused fleeing the scene.
A 6-year-old girl was seriously injured on the highway in an accident after traffic was shut down on Interstate I-95 to arrest Routh.
“Under the leadership of Governor DeSantis, we vowed to bring transparency and accountability to the investigation into the second assassination attempt of President Trump,” Moody said. “Despite the federal government frustrating our efforts, which we continue to challenge in court, we found that Mr. Routh’s actions caused catastrophic injuries to a six-year-old girl.”
The Biden-Harris administration has blocked Florida’s investigation into Routh and the state has sued in federal court.
Florida is adding attempted murder charges against Routh because of the severity of the girl’s injury.
“My heart breaks for the child and her family, and while we continue to seek justice for President Trump, we will fight just as hard to ensure Mr. Routh pays for the tragedy his criminal actions brought on this Florida family,” Moody said.
The handcuffs are coming off Florida in the Routh investigation
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis noted that the state’s investigation will be jumpstarted when Trump takes office.
“The tide will turn on January 20th and we fully expect that the federal roadblocks will be removed,” DeSantis said. “The would-be assassin needs to face the full force of justice, and the people deserve the truth about the defendant’s history, motivations, and plan.”
Moody predicted that Trump’s nominee Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel would work with the state once they take office.
Florida issued an arrest warrant for Routh who is being held in federal custody while he awaits trial.
The Florida Attorney General expressed her frustration with the lack of cooperation from the FBI under President Joe Biden.
“We immediately reached out and began communicating with our federal partners,” Moody said. “As soon as we began those overtures, we immediately were confronted with a lack of willingness to allow us access to the crime scene, an unwillingness to provide evidence that was collected, an unwillingness to allow us to accompany witness interviews, and the list goes on and on.”
Florida will be able to pursue justice for Ryan Routh’s crimes once Donald Trump returns to office.
