Kamala Harris is starting to get serious pushback about her record.
It does not hold up under serious scrutiny.
And Kamala Harris flew into a fit of rage after Ron DeSantis asked this question.
Ron DeSantis slams Kamala Harris for her role in inflation
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis took aim at Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, at a press conference.
He has previously pointed out that Florida is the top destination for residents of Minnesota relocating.
“I do not ask people to move to Florida,” DeSantis said. “If you’re living in Minnesota under Walz, some people are going to want to leave that. That’s just the reality. I mean, we know that.”
The Florida Governor ripped the idea that Kamala could fix an economy that she helped President Joe Biden drive into a ditch.
“She’s offering this fresh start and everything, and I’m thinking to myself, you know, if your house was on fire, would you bring in the arsonist to put out the fire?” DeSantis asked. “Or would you actually try something different? […] She was instrumental in creating these [problems].”
The media is trying to flip the script and treat former President Donald Trump like he is the incumbent in the race.
Kamala is being portrayed as the fresh face on the political scene who has nothing to do with the Biden-Harris administration she serves in.

DeSantis took her to task for trying to shift blame for the inflation she helped create.
“People are pinched at the grocery store,” DeSantis explained. “They’re pinched with the interest rates, and you see that […] She was an integral part in creating the problem, but then somehow she’s going to apply policies that are going to fix the problem she already started.”
Kamala blamed grocery stores and food processing for creating high prices through price gauging.
She proposed to have the federal government enforce price controls to lower food prices.
Price controls are failed policy of the Soviet Union, Cuba, and other socialist nations.
“If they tell you that that the groceries have gone up because of price gouging, they are lying to you,” DeSantis stated. “Price gouging can happen. But in the grocery store, if someone started charging, you know, 25-30% more for orange juice, while other companies, then, would offer the market price and they get your business. I mean, it’s a competitive environment.”
Prices have risen after Kamala cast the tie-breaking vote in the Senate for the $2 trillion American Rescue Plan and the $1.2 trillion Inflation Reduction Act.
“The reason why the prices have gone up is because all of the federal government’s policies interrupted supply chains,” DeSantis said. “Pump too much money into the economy, devalued. All these things have led to this. And so, to say you’re going to impose, basically, price controls on that – that will not work.”
DeSantis noted that price controls have failed everywhere they have been tried.
“I mean, why not? If that’s how it could be done, we would just do that. We know that doesn’t work,” DeSantis said. “We know when that’s been tried, it’s been an utter failure. So, this price control – that is a ruse, just to try to mask the fact that the underlying problems that people are having to deal with are government-created.”
Kamala Harris is turning to socialism to try to cover for the soaring prices she created.
