Americans are suffering from the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene.
The Biden-Harris administration did not make their lives easier.
And Kamala Harris got a reality check for dumping this awful problem on hurricane victims.
Big Labor added to the woes of Hurricane Helene victims
Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc on the southeast from Florida to Virginia.
The storm killed more than 200 people and caused billions of dollars’ worth of damage.
Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee suffered from devastating floods after the storm brought record rainfall.
A three-day strike by the International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA) union representing dockworkers shut down every port in the Gulf of Mexico and the East Coast.
The strike cost the economy an estimated $5 billion a day and created a backlog at the ports that could take weeks to clear.
Container ships were being rerouted to the West Coast in anticipation of the strike.
The ILA went on strike for a 77% pay increase over the course of six years and protections against automation.
America has some of the least efficient ports in the world because they are controlled by Big Labor instead of being automated.
Congo and Angola have more efficient ports than the United States.
As an American, you should feel shame when you see ports in Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Savannah being ranked below Congo and Tanzania.

Vice President Kamala Harris is in the pocket of Big Labor which is spending hundreds of millions of dollars to get her elected.
She came out in favor of the dockworkers strike.
“This strike is about fairness,” Kamala claimed. “Foreign-owned shipping companies have made record profits and executive compensation has grown. The Longshoremen, who play a vital role transporting essential goods across America, deserve a fair share of these record profits.”
ILA president Harold Daggett vowed that he would cripple the country during the strike.
Federal prosecutors alleged in a 2004 racketeering trial that the Genovese crime family organized a conspiracy to install Daggett as the President of the ILA.
He was acquitted but one of his co-defendants went missing during the trial and his body was found in the trunk of the car at a New Jersey diner.
Ron DeSantis slams Kamala for letting dockworkers hold the country hostage
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was ready to send the National Guard in to work the ports in his state while the dockworkers were on strike.
He slammed the strike for hurting relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
“I think it’s totally unacceptable to try to intentionally deprive people of the supplies they need to be able to rebuild their homes when they’ve been displaced at a natural disaster,” DeSantis said. “We should be doing all we can, the federal government should be doing all they can, to make sure all the supplies continue to come in here unabated.”
President Joe Biden could have stopped the strike from ever happening by using the Taft-Hartley Act to order the dockworkers back to work, but he refused.
“Let’s do everything we can to accelerate the relief,” DeSantis explained. “I think it would be [a] really, really bad look for the Biden-Harris administration to allow supplies to just be sitting in the Atlantic Ocean, just on ships that are just idling, when you have people, not just here in Pinellas County, but up our entire Gulf Coast in Big Bend, who need it.”
Kamala Harris and Joe Biden stand with Big Labor over the American people.
