Matt Gaetz exposed one awful problem that is plaguing the Secret Service

The public is searching for answers after two shocking security failures by the Secret Service.

Why the agency failed to protect Donald Trump could be worse than anyone imagined.

And Matt Gaetz exposed one awful problem that is plaguing the Secret Service.

The Secret Service is being ruined by its DEI agenda

Answers about what went wrong during the two assassination attempts against former President Donald Trump have been in short supply.

The Secret Service has been trying to stonewall Congress in its investigation into the agency.

A whitewash is underway after Trump became the first President to be shot since 1981.

That is why Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) joined the parallel investigation into the assassination attempt against Trump at a July 13 campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania led by Representative Cory Mills (R-FL).

He called the problems in the Secret Service “sick” during an appearance on the Florida radio show The B-Team.

The hosts asked if there would be accountability for the Secret Service after two assassination attempts against Trump.

“I think this is kind of late-stage [Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion],” Gaetz said. “It gets away from the fundamental American value that merit ought to drive people’s advancement.”

Disgraced former Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle set a goal of having 30% of the agents be women by 2030.

A whistleblower told U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) that the Secret Service lead agent in charge of the Butler rally was a woman who failed several exams and was known to be incompetent within the agency.

“And the other thing is that, like what you just described, makes people less safe because it erodes their air of invincibility,” Gaetz explained.

Gaetz said that people no longer viewed an attempt on a Presidential candidate as a death wish.

Mystery still surrounds the would-be assassins

The FBI was quick to conclude that the would-be assassins, Thomas Crooks and Ryan Routh, acted alone.

Gaetz noted that there were still unanswered questions about the cellphones of both gunmen.

“How are we not getting into these devices? [Routh] had six cell phones,” Gaetz said. “I want to know what was on them. Crooks had apps that were connecting him to foreign databases and foreign servers.”

Crooks had three encrypted messaging accounts that were based in Germany, Belgium, and New Zealand.

“What was that all about?” Gaetz asked. “And you wonder whether or not they do not want to reveal some of the worst features of this investigation before the election. And that troubles me because you have got to get to the truth despite optics.”

The Florida lawmaker revealed that he was told by rank-and-file members of the Secret Service that the agency’s leadership held a political grudge against Trump.

Gaetz said that Secret Service leadership denied extra protection because they “do not like Trump [and] do not want him to look authoritative and strong and ascendant and powerful, and so for the sake of looks and their political bias, they could tear this country apart by leaving this guy vulnerable to be killed.”

The investigation into the Secret Service is revealing the agency requires serious reforms.
