The Air Force is governed by woke rules
President Joe Biden issued an executive order less than a month after he took office that made promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEI) in the federal workforce a top priority.
The federal workforce was suddenly governed by woke human resources (HR) rules that were found on the campus of a liberal arts college in Vermont.
Not even the military was spared from this woke makeover.
Soldiers are now receiving training on the proper use of pronouns and on critical race theory (CRT).
Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) uncovered an internal United States Air Force document that is a woke training manual for conduct by airmen.
The document is from the 552nd Air Control Wing at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Airmen are warned not to use “micro aggressions” that could upset their colleagues like saying “toughen up” because it implies “potentially harmful standards of masculinity in individual mental and physical identities.”
The document also lectures airmen on how to manage multiple genders.
“Referring to someone as a member of ‘the opposite sex.’ While the DOD [Department of Defense] may not recognize multiple genders legally, that doesn’t mean military members exist with a wide spectrum of gender identity,” the document states.
The term “opposite sex” is considered “transphobic.”
“The phrase, ‘the opposite sex’ implies that only the gender binary exists, and also falsely conflates sex and gender identity,” the document explains.
Patriotism is now offensive in the Air Force
The document moves beyond weird gender identity jargon to warn airmen about the dangers of standing for the American flag.
“Many everyday microaggressions are veiled under the guise of personal belief systems, but that doesn’t detract from the harm they may do to BIPOC,” the document states. BIPOC is an acronym for the phrase “black, indigenous, and other people of color.”
The document went on to say, “They may not even be verbal. For instance, sometimes squadron members will hang ‘Stand for the flag, kneel for the cross’ posters in their offices. While this may seem like a benign display of Christian and patriotic values, the context of this statement is an expression in opposition to a specific form of anti-racist protest.”
Gaetz demanded to know the Air Force’s position on this woke document.
“Under Kamala Harris, the Air Force tells people ‘that’s savage’ is a microaggression. I’m sorry, but I want a savage military to protect us from China,” Gaetz said in a statement. I will be calling on the Air Force to make clear if they agree with this radical document.”
The Air Force and every branch of the military have fallen short of recruitment goals under Biden.
Treating the military as a giant sociology experiment is undermining national security and driving recruits away.
A Congressional panel recently warned that the military is not ready to fight a major war.
Under Joe Biden, its mission has moved from national security to promoting a left-wing political agenda.
