Police were shocked by what a Florida woman did to her poodle in a bathroom at the Orlando airport

Most people do not realize that an estimated two-million domestic animals travel on commercial flights each year in the United States.

Excluding service animals, Delta Airlines reports that 500,000 pets travel every year on their flights.

But police were shocked by what a Florida woman did to her poodle in a bathroom at the Orlando airport.

People with disabilities have traveled with service dogs for decades.

But thanks to the woke ideology, airlines now must accommodate a variety of animals and creatures that passengers allegedly need for psychological or emotional support.

Pets are also like family members for many Americans.

And in recent years, more Americans have been refusing to leave their beloved pets behind when they travel away from home.

But there are rules and procedures that must be followed to travel with a pet.

According to FAA rules, “animals are supposed to remain in their carrier, which must be stowed under the seat like all carry-on baggage.”

Some airlines also limit the number of pets, and many require a health certificate.

Alison Agatha Lawrence, 57, recently showed up at the Orlando International Airport with her white poodle dog to catch a flight.

However, she had failed to fill out the necessary paperwork for her dog to board the plane.

But instead of missing her flight or calling someone to come and get the dog, Lawrence made a sick and evil decision to kill her dog.

The affidavit said Lawrence “is believed to have taken extreme and tragic action by killing the dog.”

“Sources told Channel 9 Lawrence was trying to board a flight on December 16th, but didn’t have the right paperwork to allow the dog to board and couldn’t take it,” WFTV9 reported. “Sources told Channel 9 Alison Lawrence allegedly drowned her dog in an airport bathroom than threw the small dog in the trash where cleaning staff later discovered the dog.”

Reporters spoke to the woman’s neighbors.

They recalled seeing her walk a small white dog around the neighborhood and were shocked by the allegations.

“Someone that would do such things has got to be disturbed upstairs,” one neighbor said.

Lawrence had already left the airport when police discovered the dog.

“A woman who was working at the time told police she saw a woman, later identified as Lawrence, sitting on the bathroom floor of a stall, cleaning up a large amount of water and dog food,” WESH reported. “The employee said she had to tend to an emergency elsewhere, and when she returned, she saw Lawrence exit the stall and leave with a purse and suitcase.”

However, her name and contact information were on the dog’s tag.

Animal services also found a chip inside the dog that helped authorities locate Lawrence.

Surveillance cameras also showed Lawrence arriving at the airport with the dog.

Lawrence was arrested and charged with aggravated animal cruelty.
