Ron DeSantis asked a reporter one question about sex change operations on minors that the Left refuses to answer

The Left is pushing to legalize child mutilation under the guise of so-called gender-affirming care.

They even think doctors should be allowed to chop off the private parts of confused children.

But Ron DeSantis asked a reporter one question about sex change operations on minors that the Left refuses to answer.

The radical Left is indoctrinating young children in schools across the country with their woke gender identity politics.

After brainwashing children with radical transgender ideology, the Left wants to be allowed to perform life-altering gender reassignment surgeries on these confused minors.

But Governor Ron DeSantis is fighting to protect children in Florida from the Left’s woke insanity.

Last May, DeSantis signed a bill to “protect the innocence” of young children by prohibiting sex-change operations on minors.

“Florida is proud to lead the way in standing up for our children,” DeSantis said last year. “As the world goes mad, Florida represents a refuge of sanity and a citadel of normalcy.”

But U.S. District Judge Robert Hinkle for the Northern District of Florida struck down the ban on transgender medical operations for children in a ruling handed down on Monday.

“Florida has adopted a statute and rules that ban gender-affirming care for minors even when medically appropriate,” Hinkle wrote in his opinion. “The ban is unconstitutional.”

But DeSantis is determined to protect children and is appealing the ruling.

During a press conference on Wednesday, a left-wing reporter started an argument with DeSantis over his decision to file an appeal.

“Why should taxpayer dollars go to this case for the appeal?” a reporter asked DeSantis.

“Because it’s wrong to mutilate minors,” DeSantis fired back. “It is wrong to perform a sex change on a 16-year old.”

He then posed a question that the woke Left will not answer.

“You’re not allowed to get a tattoo, but somehow you can have your privates cut off?” DeSantis said. “Give me a break,” he continued. “This is wrong.”

DeSantis said he expects to win on the appeal because “they upheld Alabama’s law which was almost identical to Florida’s law.”

“This will be reversed,” he said. “There is no question that it will be reversed.”

DeSantis made it clear that this is one battle that he will not stop fighting.

“We are going to stand up for duly enacted statutes, we’re going to stand up for protecting the innocence of these kids,” DeSantis added.
