Ron DeSantis gave a dire warning about this awful scheme by RINO turncoats

Apr 2, 2025

The Republican establishment wants to claw its way back into power.

Even in deep red states, they are trying to make a comeback.

And Ron DeSantis gave a dire warning about this awful scheme by RINO turncoats.

Ron DeSantis warns of the Republican Party being infiltrated

Florida was the biggest battleground state in the country for decades.

The winner of the Sunshine State won the Presidency in every election this century except 2020.

But Florida’s days as a battleground state are over.

It has become an increasingly red state since the 2016 Election.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis won re-election by nearly 20 points in 2022, and President Donald Trump carried it by more than 13 points.

Democrats are in bad shape in Florida.

That is why DeSantis warned that Democrats and RINOs would infiltrate the Republican Party in Florida.

“Since you now need an ‘R’ by your name to get elected statewide and in most parts of Florida, the issue will be squishy politicians and even outright liberals running as ‘Republicans’ but, once elected, following their true beliefs and governing to the left,” DeSantis wrote on X.

“We are already seeing this, and it will only get worse as the Democrat party continues to crater,” DeSantis added.

DeSantis commented on a post from Representative Kat Cammack (R-FL) celebrating Florida Republicans’ advantage in registered voters.

Democrats had 250,000 more registered voters in the state when DeSantis won the Governor’s race in the 2018 Midterm Elections.

Now, Republicans have more than 1.2 million voters registered by party than Democrats.

Republicans got the advantage in registered voters for the first time in the state’s history in November 2021.

Any Democrat running for statewide office starts out the race in a big hole.

That is why DeSantis warned they were trying to infiltrate the GOP.

Democrats and RINOs will talk like conservatives on the campaign trail and govern as leftists once they take office.

It is a tried-and-true tactic in red states all over the country.

Byron Donalds wants to build on the DeSantis legacy

DeSantis oversaw Florida’s shift into a red state and a leader in conservative policies.

Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL) is running for Governor of the state next year and wants to build on DeSantis’ legacy.

“And so, now my job going forward is to take that, build upon it, and now let’s add in things around the financial industry of Florida,” Donalds said.

He wants to make Florida the best state in the country to do business in.

“To be honest with you, the Democrats have really shot themselves in the foot. Have you seen, like the CNN poll, that the Democrat Party approval number is at the lowest that they’ve ever recorded in history or in the last 100 years?” Donalds asked.

He praised DeSantis and U.S. Senator Rick Scott (R-FL), the previous Governor, for the good work they did in office.

“They’re like 29 percent in Florida. Our people know what conservative governance is. We’ve been doing this for 30 years in our state. Gov. DeSantis, he’s done a great job. Rick Scott, before him, he did a great job. We’ve had great Republican leadership in Florida,” Donalds explained.

“My job is to keep the trains going, keep the same policies in place, build on that, make Florida continue to be the best state in the country,” Donalds added.
