Under Ron DeSantis’ watch, Florida has gone from a politically divided swing state to a reliably red state.
Last November for example, Floridians overwhelmingly voted to elect Donald Trump and re-elect Senator Rick Scott.
And Ron DeSantis’ latest move has the woke mob screaming bloody murder.

Radical left-wing professors and employees have taken over many of America’s academic institutions.
Rather than teaching young people the skills they need to thrive in their future careers, many professors and universities engage in brainwashing, teaching students to hate America and each other.
Just look at all the campus protests that occurred last year, where deranged leftists camped out on the lawns of various campuses from Harvard to UC Berkley, trashing American flags while chanting pro-terrorism slogans.
The state of Florida has refused to allow such brainwashing to occur, with Governor Ron DeSantis taking decisive measures to make universities in Florida places of higher learning, not indoctrination zones.
Earlier this week, for example, Ron DeSantis appointed five new people to the University of West Florida board of trustees.
At least two of these individuals have outraged the radical left due to their public opposition to “wokeness.”
The two selections that outrage leftists the most include Scott Yenor, a Boise State University political science professor, and Adam Kissel, an education policy fellow at The Heritage Foundation.
Jeremy Redfern, a spokesman for Governor Ron DeSantis, addressed these selections to The Tampa Bay Times, stating, “Under the leadership of Ron DeSantis, Florida made a commitment to refocus the state’s universities on their classical mission: promoting academic excellence and preparing students to be citizens of this republic.”
The statement added, “Bringing in these new board members will break the status quo and help refocus the university on the core mission of education.”
Following DeSantis’ selection of Scott Yenor, the Governor’s office issued a press release, praising Yenor for his work and how his “research focuses on feminism, sexual liberation, and on dismantling the role of social justice in America’s universities.”
Leftists and left-wing media outlets like The Guardian have attempted to smear Yenor, referring to his writings as “inflammatory rightwing commentary.”
DeSantis similarly conducted the work of Adam Kissel, who likewise supports dismantling “wokeness” in American academic institutions.
In an email to The Tampa Bay Times, Kissel wrote, “Many of my policy recommendations are for state and federal actors to consider rather than trustees.”
He added, “Higher education today is receiving a lot of attention as the public wonders if it can trust what really happens behind the campus gates.”
Ron DeSantis has proven that he is not messing around when it comes to standing up to the “woke” mob
Dismantling “wokeness” and other left-wing insanity has become a priority for Governor Ron DeSantis and his administration.
His willingness to confront “woke” insanity has made him one of the most popular governors in the nation, and many political experts agree that he will run for higher office somewhere down the line.
Other governors have looked to Florida, which has served as an example of how to turn a swing state into a solid red state with a booming economy.
