Florida restaurant owned by mom of Eagles player targeted by Taylor Swift fans
The Kansas City Chiefs were denied a third straight Lombardi Trophy after they were routed in the Super Bowl by the Philadelphia Eagles in a 40-22 defeat.
Eagles safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson was trashing talking Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce during the game.
Pop star Taylor Swift was at the big game to cheer on her boyfriend Kelce.
Gardner-Johnson did not leave his trash-talking to the field.
The safety took a shot at Kelce after the Super Bowl on social media.

“Should’ve Stayed w that thick s****,” Garnder-Johnson wrote.
The jab was a reference to Kelce’s former girlfriend Kayla Nicole and a shot at Swift.
Swift’s fans known as the “Swifties” were not going to take the barb against their favorite artist lying down.
The restaurant owned by Johnson-Gardner’s mother, the King’s Grill in Rockledge, Florida, was flooded with negative reviews online from angry Swifties.
One-star reviews poured in online, and the Florida restaurant was called terrible.
The restaurant’s Yelp page was removed because of the unusual activity and Google worked to remove the bad reviews that came in after the Super Bowl.
Some of the reviews were counteracted by Eagles fans who praised the restaurant.
“Service is Swift and Speedy. If you don’t visit this dominant establishment it will be a Travistry,” a review said.
Mom of Eagles star fires back at Taylor Swift’s fans
Delatron Johnson, the mother of C.J. Gardner-Johnson, got the last laugh on the angry Swifties who left bad reviews for her restaurant.
“I have friends who were sending me the screenshots,” Johnson told TMZ. “They were going, ‘Oh my god, look at this!’ And the first thing everyone said was, ‘the Swifties have attacked.”
The Swifties did not do their homework.
“Yes, we’ve seen all the reviews. The joke is really on the Swifties and everyone entertaining the reviews because Kings Grill is closed,” Johnson explained.
The Kings Grill closed in January.
Gardner-Johnson’s parents are opening a new restaurant in Cocoa, Florida called the Village Bier Garten where they held a Super Bowl watch party.
“There is really no backlash because we are in the process of selling Kings Grill anyways,” Johnson stated. “It didn’t affect us one way or another.”
The mother of the Eagles star said that trash-talking has been a part of his game since he started playing football.
“We’ve been dealing with this since he was a kid,” Johnson said. “He talks the talk ’cause he can back it up. The same thing with his mother, I talk the talk because I can back it up.”
Johnson said her restaurant would be fine no matter what angry Taylor Swift fans said on the internet.
Swifties take fandom to a different level by attacking restaurants online to defend the honor of the pop star.
