Leftists seem to love losing control of their emotions and going on uncontrolled rants.
They post videos of their screaming fits over things they do not like.
But this teacher went way too far in her rant, and she is going to prison for five years because of it.
Threats Against Judges Increase
Since Roe v. Wade was repealed by the U.S. Supreme Court with the Dobbs decision, threats against Federal Judges have been on the increase.
There were 224 reported serious threats against judges in 2021, but that increased to 457 in 2023 according to the U.S. Marshal Service.
When the Dobbs decision was released, Leftists started holding protests at the homes of U.S. Supreme Court Justices.
The Biden-Harris Administration did not immediately respond to this threat by increasing security and the protestors were not charged with judicial interference.
As a result, Leftists thought they were fair game.
In 2022 the Florida legislature passed a law that the Left calls the “Don’t Say Gay” law (H.B. 1557) which was designed to protect children from the woke agenda of the Trans community.
It was not a law that forced teachers to teach a Judeo-Christian worldview but instead just ended unhinged teachers from pushing trans ideology on impressionable children.
Former Teacher Loses It
H.B. 1557 was immediately challenged in Federal Court by LGBQT activists.
U.S. District Judge Wendy Berger dismissed the suit in 2022.
A retired homosexual teacher, Stephen Thorn, pleaded guilty to calling a Federal Judge after the ruling and leaving a profane message full of vile threats.
He was sentenced to five years in prison by U.S. District Judge William Jung, more than twice as long as the Biden-Harris Justice Department asked for.
In his profanity-laced rant, he also said, “Let’s see how you like it if somebody endangered your children or grandchildren in school.”
According to a Reuters story, the Florida law “The Florida measure, formally called the Parental Rights in Education Act, bars classroom instruction in public schools on sexual orientation or gender identity for children in kindergarten through third grade, or from about ages 5-9.”
This is what led to the phone call and threat on the judge by the homosexual retired teacher.
Thorne then told the judge that he had looked up her children and said they were “very easy to track.”
This is what the U.S. Supreme Court calls a “true threat.”
According to the University of Wisconsin Law School: A true threat is not protected by the First Amendment. The U.S. Supreme Court defined true threats in Virginia v. Black (2003) as “statements where the speaker means to communicate a serious expression of an intent to commit an act of unlawful violence to a particular individual or group of individuals.” According to the Supreme Court, true threats include when a speaker directs a threat to a person or group of persons with the intent of placing the victim in fear of bodily harm or death.”
The Biden-Harris has been giving a free pass to Leftists who have been making threats against people they disagree with and finally, one has been sentenced to the full extent of the law.
