This Florida man was arrested for doing exactly the opposite of what the shirt he wore said

Mar 26, 2025

It seems everywhere you go these days there are people adorned with t-shirts with messages and advertisements.

Sometimes these messages are fitting and appropriate for those wearing them.

But this Florida man was arrested for doing exactly the opposite of what the shirt he wore said.

Daniel Murillo of Tampa, Florida, should have thought about the shirt he wore before getting into an argument with a woman.

I never argue

His shirt read simply, “I never argue.”

But the events of that day, and his arrest, prove that his shirt was possibly meant for someone else to wear.

And his actions clearly showed that he argued with a 24-year-old woman in a BMW outside a Kissimmee Econo Lodge.

Not only that, but the argument got physical.

Murillo, 44, allegedly attacked the much younger woman, repeatedly punching her in the head while they sat inside a BMW parked outside an Econo Lodge in Kissimmee.

The couple was apparently together on a trip when their vehicle broke down and interrupted their travels.

They decided to stay at the Econo Lodge until they could get their car fixed, but soon ran out of money.

They then had to leave the hotel and move into the broken-down car.

That is when the stress of the situation seemed to get to them, and the argument began, and then got violent.

By the time police arrived on the scene, the woman had several lumps on her head.

Murillo told police that it was the woman who started the physical altercation when he told her mom about how she was acting.

Murillo also claimed he had been in a romantic relationship with the woman for several months, but she denied this to police.

“Daniel stated that the physical altercation occurred differently than what [redacted] described. Daniel claimed that the argument started because [redacted] was upset over the situation and blamed him. He further reported that [redacted] had threatened to physically harm him, which caused him to text her mother about the threats. Daniel stated that this made [redacted] even more irate, resulting in her punching him in the face.”

Punches, counterpunches, and even urine flinging

Murillo said he responded to her attack by punching her back.

But the argument was more than just screaming and shouting, and punches.

According to Murillo, things got bizarre and wet.

He also said she threw urine at him from a cup they had in their car, which led to him breaking the car’s windows in retaliation.

As police tried to sort things out, they decided to arrest Murillo.

Officers on the scene determined Murillo was the aggressor and took him into custody on a misdemeanor battery charge.

He was booked into the Osceola County Jail on a $1,000 bond and was expected to appear in court.

His “I Never Argue” T-shirt was swapped for a jail-issued uniform.

Whoever was the aggressor, one thing is for sure: Murillo probably should not have tattled on the woman by texting her mom.

And he certainly needs to rethink his wardrobe.
