The Democrats and Legacy Media have long been united as one.
But it’s amazing how fast a coalition collapses after they get their butts whipped.
And this one question started an all-out war against Democrats and the media that no one saw coming.
Trump is good at wrecking honeymoons
If you have been around the block long enough, then you know that relationships don’t last forever.
Something always comes up that throws a monkey wrench into the relationship that ends the honeymoon phase as quickly as it began.
It looks like the honeymoon phase between Legacy Media and the Democrat Party has hit that end stage.
Over the past few decades, it’s been undeniable that Democrats and the media are always on the same side.
But even more frustrating for Americans is that Democrats practically feed the media their talking points.
You can always tell the next talking point for Democrats in Washington, D.C. when the media starts to rattle off points you have never heard before.
But it looks like that cozy relationship between Democrats and the Legacy Media has finally come to an end.
This past election totally wrecked the media and Democrats.
After spending eight years demonizing Donald Trump, they were convinced that the American people would vote against him.
But the American people could see through the lies being pushed by the media and Democrats and handed Trump a second term in office.
And the media and the Democrats have been a bit salty against each other since the election.
CNN vs. Senator Durbin blood match
But of all the snippy comments that we are seeing now between the media and Democrats, this exchange between Illinois Democrat Senator Dick Durbin and CNN’s Manu Raju is the worst.
Raju started by asking Senator Durbin his thoughts on the GOP’s push to add a significant pay raise for members of Congress.
Durbin smiled and approved the news by claiming that it was the first he had heard of any pay raise heading his way.
But then Raju went for blood and hit Durbin with one heck of a question.
“People look at the performance of Congress and say why should we give them our money?” he asked.
Senator Durbin was a little stunned by the question since he is used to getting softball questions from CNN.
But after he gathered his thoughts, Durbin went in for the kill.
“What about the media?” he said. “Think about that for a second, half of your listeners are not there anymore. You’re still getting the same paycheck. What’s going on?”

This was an exchange that you would never see on CNN just a couple of months ago.
But the American people are all here for the destruction of the honeymoon relationship between Democrats and the media.
