This video of a Florida man will make parents terrified to take their kids to see a doctor

Most adults catch a cold every now and then, but kids often get as many as eight colds per year.

With more than a million doctors in the United States, it is often difficult for parents to find one they trust.

And this video of a Florida man will make parents terrified to take their kids to see a doctor.

Stephen Andrew Leedy, 59, is a palliative care doctor who practices in Tampa, Florida.

In December, Leedy traveled to Georgia with his wife and mother-in-law.

While driving through Holly Springs, Georgia, police officers pulled Leedy’s car over for a traffic stop.

But this was no ordinary traffic stop.

Police instructed Leedy to get out of the vehicle and “put your hands behind your back.”

“I’m sorry, what’s going on?” Leedy asked the officers.

“Put your hands behind your back, and immediately ‘cuff him,’” the officer can be heard saying in the bodycam footage.

“I’m assuming this is a case of mistaken identity,” a confused Leedy said. “I’m a physician.”

In the video, Leedy’s wife Lynda can be seen looking confused about why her husband was being arrested.

She decided to get out of the car and ask the police officers for more information, but they only told her he was going to jail on a warrant.

“If he wants to tell you that information from the jail he can but I don’t tell other individuals what his warrant’s for,” the officer said.

Police then took Leedy to Fayette County jail where he was taken into custody by U.S. Marshalls.

But what the officers could not tell her is that he was being taken to jail on the most disgusting charges one can get.

He is accused of sexually exploiting 10 children.

“A Tampa Bay doctor has been arrested after allegedly sexually exploiting several children and directing them to ‘cut, choke, and hang themselves,’ according to the U.S. Department of Justice,” WFLA reported. “Stephen Andrew Leedy, 59, of St. Petersburg, was indicted on multiple charges related to the alleged crimes,” WFLA continued. “The charges against him include three counts of production of child sexual abuse material and two counts of coercing or enticing a minor to engage in sexual activity.”

Leedy worked as a palliative care doctor.

Palliative care doctors provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to sick children and their families.

They only see children with serious, complex, or life-threatening conditions.

Leedy apparently spoke to his victims through video calling, but he kept his screen black and never revealed his identity to the victims.

A 13-year-old girl killed herself after he sent her instructions on how to do it.

This is what led to his arrest.

According to the police records, there is a lot of evidence pointing to Leedy being guilty.

“The weight of evidence against Leedy is extremely strong,” the filings state. “Leedy very clearly engaged in this precatory behavior with approximately 10 minors across the country,” it continued. “He had absolutely no disregard for their safety and took advantage of children more than half his age to gratify himself.”

Leedy was charged with three counts of production of child sex abuse material and two counts of coercing or enticing a minor to engage in sexual activity.
